Finale With Southeastern Louisiana Cancelled

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - After heavy rainfall in the area over the weekend, the playing surface at SFA Softball Field has been deemed too wet to play the series finale with Southeastern Louisiana. The Southland Conference game scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday has been cancelled.
The Lady Lions won the first two games in the three game set on Friday, winning 11-2 in six innings before holding on for a 5-3 win in eight. The two losses drop the Ladyjacks to 7-20 on the season and 1-7 in SLC play.
SFA will look to right the ship when the squad is next in action on Wednesday afternoon against Prairie View A&M in Prairie View, Texas. The game is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m.
