Softball's Weekend Series at UCA Altered

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin softball team's upcoming weekend series in Conway against Central Arkansas has been shifted to a Saturday doubleheader and a Sunday afternoon game, announced head coach Gay McNutt on Wednesday morning. Saturday's twin bill will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Sunday's matchup beginning at noon.
The Ladyjacks and Sugar Bears were originally scheduled to play a doubleheader in Conway on Friday with the third game set for Saturday afternoon.
SFA enters the week with a 1-2 record in Southland Conference play early in the season, while UCA comes in at 3-0 after sweeping Texas A&M-Corpus Christi last weekend. All three games this weekend will be held at Farris Field.
