Cardenas Adds Campbell To Signing Class

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin head baseball coach Johnny Cardenas announced the addition of pitcher Seth Campbell on Friday morning during the early signing period. Campbell has been accepted for admission at SFA for next fall and has signed a written offer of aid.
Seth Campbell - Channelview Texas (Channelview HS)
Position: LHP
Height/Weight: 6-2/182
Bats/Throws: L/L
A three-year letterwinner and starting pitcher, Campbell enters his senior year at Channelview High School in Channelview, Texas.
During his time at CHS, Campbell was named honorable mention all-district as a sophomore and a Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American as a junior, tossing two complete game shutouts.
Campbell is currently ranked as the No. 11 left-handed pitcher in the state of Texas and No. 140 southpaw nationally by Perfect Game USA.
Cardenas on Campbell:
“Seth is a left-handed pitcher with huge upside on the mound,” Cardenas said. “He has an above average arm with above average physicality.”
