Ladyjacks Open SLC Play At UCA

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Fresh off a 1-0 victory over Louisiana Tech, the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks softball team travels to Conway, Ark. this weekend for their first Southland Conference action of the season. SFA and UCA will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 11 a.m., followed by a single game on Sunday at 12 p.m.
SFA (6-13) defeated the Lady Techsters 1-0 on Wednesday in their home opener behind a complete game shutout from senior pitcher Angela White. The victory snapped a four-game losing streak and was their third victory in the past 13 games.
