SFA To Face No. 3 Texas

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack softball team will take on No. 3 Texas Wednesday in a mid-week clash. The game against the Longhorns is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. from Texas' Red and Charline McCombs Field.
SFA (9-28) is coming off a 5-3 extra-inning win at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sunday that saved the Ladyjacks from a series sweep and put a stop to SFA's seven-game losing streak. Four of SFA's losses during that slide were by three runs or fewer, including two 1-0 defeats.
Texas is 34-3 on the year and leads the Big 12 with a 7-0 conference record. The Longhorns have an 18-game win streak and have won 24 of their last 25 contests. Texas is 17-0 at home this season.
