Ladyjacks Drop Conference Opener

LAKE CHARLES, La. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team kicked off the 2005 Southland Conference season Tuesday afternoon in Lake Charles, La., against McNeese State. The Cowgirls won the match, 7-0.
McNeese State started the day tough winning doubles point by taking all three doubles matches. The Cowgirls never looked back from that point, sweeping the singles play.
The Ladyjacks return to action Sunday when they host Lamar. The match against the Lady Cardinals is slated to begin at 2 p.m., from the SFA Tennis Courts.
