Ladyjack Softball Announces 2006 Schedule

NACOGDOCHES - Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack softball head coach Jenifer Wells announced her team's 2006 schedule Thursday. The schedule is highlighted with a string of non-conference tournaments at Louisiana State, Louisiana-Monroe, Birmingham Southern, and Tulsa.
The Ladyjacks will kick off the season on Feb. 10 in Baton Rouge, La. at LSU's Purple and Gold Challenge. SFA is scheduled to play South Dakota State, LSU, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Southland Conference foe Northwestern State in the three-day tournament.
SFA will participate in two more tournaments, at Birmingham Southern in Birmingham, Ala., and at Louisiana-Monroe before coming home on Feb. 28 for their home and SLC opener against Northwestern State.
