Ladyjacks Fall to McNeese State

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team lost to McNeese State, 6-1, Saturday afternoon at the SFA Tennis Courts. The Ladyjacks are now 4-8 (.333) on the season and 1-4 (.200) in conference matches.
McNeese State jumped out to a 3-0 lead, winning the doubles' point and taking victories at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles. Junior Emily Voss put SFA on the scoreboard when she beat the Cowgirls' Allison Lui, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 6 singles, but Ladyjacks were shutout in the final three singles matches of the afternoon.
The Ladyjacks return to action Sunday when they host Lamar. The match against the Lady Cardinals is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
