Ladyjacks Lose to Abilene Christian

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team was defeated by Abilene Christian, 7-0, Friday afternoon at the SFA Tennis Courts. The Ladyjacks are now 1-4 (.200) on the season.
Abilene Christian won all three doubles matches to win the doubles point, taking a 1-0 lead. Christine Huynh battled the Wildcats' Rachel Taylor tough but lost the match, 6-4, 6-4, at No. 4 singles. ACU took a commanding 4-0 lead after picking up victories at Nos. 1 and 2 singles. The Wildcats won the final three singles matches for the shutout victory.
The Ladyjacks return to action Thursday when they travel to Arlington, Texas, to take on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The match is slated to begin at 2 p.m.
