Ladyjacks Shutout Lady Indians Volleyball improves win streak to six and nine of their last 10
MONROE, La. -- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack volleyball team increased its season-high win streak to six matches Tuesday night in Monroe, La. SFA shutout Louisiana-Monroe 3-0 (30-28, 30-14, 30-16) to improve to 9-3 on the season and a perfect 3-0 in the Southland Conference.
Junior middle blocker Jennifer Wilson (Friendswood, Texas) led the SFA offensive attack with 14 kills on 23 attemps (.565 attack percentage). Senior Kristy Rhodes (Cypress, Texas) maintained her consistent play with an 11-kill (.370 attack percentage), 10-dig performance. It was her team-high seventh double-double of the season. Sophomore Julie Goodson (Alvin, Texas) led SFA with 13 digs.
The Ladyjacks return to action Friday night against Sam Houston State. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., from Huntsville, Texas.
