'Jacks Win Exhibition Over Team Ezybonds, 71-60

The Lumberjacks overcame a two-point halftime deficit to defeat Team Ezybonds 71-60 Tuesday night at the William R. Johnson Coliseum. SFA trailed 33-31 at the break, but came out and scored the first seven points of the second half to take a lead they never relinquished.
SFA was led by sophomore Edwin Tatum's 22 points, Ron Banks added 14 as the only Lumberjacks in double figures. SFA shot 46% from the field in the game, and 83% at the free throw line. The 'Jacks also outrebounded the Australians 36-27. Nine different Lumberjacks had at least three rebounds each.
The 'Jacks open the regular season Sunday afternoon at 3:00 against Loyola-Chicago in the Coliseum.
