MONROE, Louisiana -- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team shutout the University of Louisiana-Monroe in a 1-0 victory.
Goalie, Lotta Westerberg had ten saves and no goals. There were five shots and five shots on goal for the Ladyjacks. Jessica Negron, Kimberly Elger, Angela Rocco, Anna Steed, and Nicole Horn all had one shot and one shot on goal during the match.
The first and winning goal was shot by Steed at 74:53 and was assisted by Elger. The Ladyjacks also took five corner kicks.
The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks will host Southeast Louisiana on October 7th at 1:00 p.m. in Homer Bryce Stadium to see if they can hold on to their winning streak. Admission is free.
