Ladyjack Soccer Ends Winning Streak

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team lose their three game winning streak to the Centenary Ladies 1-0 at Homer Bryce Stadium.
The first and game winning goal was scored by Centenary Lady, Sarah Dewitt at 86:37.
Spring freshman, Nicole Horn had three shots and three shots on goal, which was the most shots taken for the Ladyjacks. Horn is one of the high shooters with 14 shots taken for the season. Ashley King and Anna Steed are the leading shooters, with 15 shots taken for the season. Steed is the high scorer with six goals and 13 points for the season. Other shots were taken by King, Steed, Lotta Westerberg, Sarah Giessinnger and Keisha Benton.
Junior goalie, Elizabeth Evatt, had five saves and one goal against her.
Stephen F. Austin took eight shots during the match and Centenary took six.
The Ladyjacks will host Northwestern State on October 18 at 2:00 p.m. in Homer Bryce Stadium. Admission is free.
