NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team lost 2-0 to the Northwestern Lady Demons.
Junior goalie, Elizabeth Evatt had two saves and two goals against her. Both goals were scored by Northwestern freshman, Hillarie Marshall off corner kicks and assisted by Jacqualyn Lawerence.
The Ladyjacks had 13 shots during the match. Nicole Horn, one of SFA's leading shooters, had four shots and three shots on goal. Sophomore forward, Anna Steed, had three shots and two shots on goal. Steed and Horn are both tied for leading shooters with 18 shots for the season. Steed is also leading in goals made and points. Kimberly Elger, Midland forward, also had three shots and two shots on goal. Elger has 13 shots for the season.
The Ladyjacks will host McNeese State on Friday, October 20th at 7:00 p.m. in Homer Bryce Stadium. The Ladyjacks will also host the University of Louisiana-Monroe on Sunday October 22nd at 3:00 p.m. in Homer Bryce Stadium. Admission is free.
