Current Duties/Responsibilities:
I oversee annual giving to the athletic department which includes fostering relationships with donors, fans, and alumni. Primary focus is on gifts to the Purple Lights Fund, Sport Specific Victory Funds and NIL Sawmill Funds. In addition to growing these funds, I am responsible for the operations and hospitality of our premium spaces at the William R. Johnson Coliseum during basketball season. Along with the Touchdown Club & Suites, Purple Lights Patio, and Endzone Suites at Home Bryce Stadium during football season.

In April of 2025, Stephen F. Austin Director of Athletics Michael McBroom announced the addition of Casey Lish as the Associate Athletic Director of Annual Giving.
Lish spent the past fifteen years at West Texas A&M in a variety of roles. Most recently he served as Deputy Director of Athletics for the 2024-25 season. Lish oversaw all aspects external relations, including marketing, fan experience, communications, ticketing, alumni relations, and corporate relations. Lish’s primary duty was athletic development, which includes the Buffalo Club Annual Campaign, donor relations, campaign planning, capital projects and premium seating in Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium. In addition to the external operations, Lish assisted with athletic administration, including oversight of the Buff and Lady Buff Basketball teams.
The Pocatello, Idaho, native is a former baseball student-athlete, spending time at NJCAA member, College of Southern Idaho, before finishing his playing career at WT under current Lumberjack Baseball Head Coach Matt Vanderburg. Due to an injury, Lish left the playing field and joined the coaching staff of the Buffs in the spring of 2012.
Lish, spent three seasons as an assistant for the Buffs, during his time as a coach he was part of the program’s first ever NCAA Regional Tournament. Following the 2014 season Lish left coaching and WT for a management position in the private sector before returning to college athletics in the spring of 2015 as the Ticketing and Donor Relations Manager at WT.
Lish has earned multiple degrees including, an Associate of Art’s in Liberal Arts from CSI, a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Sciences, as well as a Master of Science in Sports Management from WT.
Lish and his wife Nikki have three daughters Kinsley(9), Kollins(6) and Korinne(4).
