Ladyjacks Hit the Road for a Six-Day Swing

SFA will head to UIW, HCU, and McNeese to close out the regular season.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin women's basketball program will hit the road for their final three games of the regular season.
WHERE TO TUNE IN
• All the games will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
• Cade Haak will have the call on Q107 Thursday night and Saturday. Monday's game will be on KSFA due to a conflict with the men's game.
LAST TIME OUT
• SFA swept the season series against the Nicholls Colonels for their 51st win of the series.
• SFA nearly doubled Nicholls in the paint, 42-26 and scored 44 of their 77 points in the second half.
• Senior Harmanie Dominguez led the team with 18 points and brought down four boards.
• Key Roseby followed with 16 points and led the team with three three-pointers.
• Senior Ashlyn Traylor-Walker scored 11 points, including her 1,500th career point, and led the team with five assists.
• Aziyah Farrier scored 10 points and led the team with 10 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season.
SCOUTING UIW
• The Cardinals currently sit in fifth place with a 13-13 overall record and a 11-8 conference record.
• UIW is currently riding a three-game win streak, picking up wins over Nicholls, Northwestern State, and East Texas A&M.
• Jorja Elliott leads the team with 330 points, followed by Brynn Lusby with 259 points.
• Raimi McCrary leads the Cardinals with 161 board, followed by Elliott who has recorded 149.
• Madison Cockrell is the facilitator for the UIW offense with 74 assists.
• Elliott is a force to be reckoned with on the defensive end as she leads the team with 39 steals and 18 blocks.
SCOUTING HCU
• The Huskies currently sit in ninth place and enter the week with an 8-18 overall record and a 6-13 conference record.
• Grace Booth leads the team with 290 points, followed closely by Kamryn McLaurin with 283 points.
• Booth also leads HCU with 176 boards followed by Jordan Jackson who has tallied 145 boards. Jackson also leads the team with 13 blocks.
• Tove Caesar runs the offense with 61 assists followed by Booth who has 50.
SCOUTING MCNEESE
• The Cowgirls are sitting in first place and have already clinched a SLC Regular Season Championship with a 24-4 overall record and a 18-1 conference record.
• McNeese is currently riding a 17-game win streak with their last loss coming on December 15 against Northwestern State.
• Dakota Howard leads the team with 342 points followed by Arianna Patton with 308 points.
• Three Cowgirls have over 100 boards this season; Howard leads with 165, Tyreona Sibley has 153 and Lexi Alexander has 149.
• Jalencia Pierra is the facilitator for McNeese with 98 assists and leads the team with 55 steals.
• Alexander leads the Cowgirls with 20 blocks.
SERIES HISTORY
• SFA holds a 15-1 series lead and are looking to sweep the series against the Cardinals. The Jacks defeated UIW on January 8, 75-63.
• SFA has a 16-1 series lead over the Huskies. The Jacks are looking for a season sweep after defeating HCU on January 10, 87-67.
• SFA holds a 51-14 series lead over the Cowgirls and are looking to split the season series. McNeese defeated the Jacks in the Sawmill on January 29, 70-64.
MONEY MANIE
• After recording the second most three-pointers in a single season at SFA with 89, Harmanie Dominguez continues to be one of the most prolific shooters from beyond the arc. Dominguez currently has 166 career three-pointers at SFA and is 3 away from passing Kirby Killingsworth for fourth All-Time
• In the Jan. 29 matchup against McNeese, Dominguez made four three-pointers to pass Chanell Hayes and Britany Vinson to tie Brentney Branch for 5th All-Time with 153 three-pointers.
• Against New Orleans, Dominguez recorded four three-pointers which officially put her 8th All-Time, passing Stephanie Whitmore.
• In the game against HCU, Dominguez passed Katrina Price for 9th in three-pointers made at SFA.
• With her second three-pointer against East Texas A&M, Dominguez passed current teammate Avery Vansickle for the 10th most made three-pointers by a Ladyjack with 127.
• She also drained her 300th career three-pointer against the Lady Lions of SLU.
NATIONAL RANKINGS
• Harmanie Dominguez is 27th in the nation with 2.79 three pointers/game, she is also 25th nationally in made three-pointers with 78.
• Kaylinn Kemp is 25th nationally and 1st in the conference with 5.4 assists/game and 26th nationally with 144 assists. She is also 50th nationally with an 85.1 free throw percentage.
• Aziyah Farrier is 23rd nationally and 1st in the conference with 1.96 blocks/game. She also currently leads the conference and ranked 21st nationally with 55 blocks this season, which ties her for the eighth most in a single season in Ladyjack history.
HIGH FLYING OFFENSE
• The Ladyjacks had a three-game streak of scoring at least 85 points which is the first time this has happened since a seven-game streak during the 2020-21 season.
• SFA averages 76.4 points per game which leads the conference which is eight points more than second place McNeese. In terms of total points, the Ladyjacks have scored 216 more points than the Cowgirls.
• Two Ladyjacks are ranked in the top 10 in the Southland in points and points per game.
• SFA has four that have scored over 300 points this season which is double the next closest teams (ETAMU, NSU, McNeese).
