Morgan Glick joins the Ladyjack soccer staff in the spring of 2016 as the director of soccer operations.
Glick helped SFA win four straight Southland Conference championships and qualify for one NCAA Tournament during her playing career from 2011-2014. One of the best goalkeepers to ever suit up in the purple and white, Glick ranks first all-time in program history in save percentage (.858), second in goals against average (0.59) and sixth in saves (127).
The Boerne, Texas native posted an impressive 24-5-2 record in 51 games over a four-year span, during which the Ladyjacks went 38-1-1 in SLC play.
Glick elevated the Ladyjack defensive unit to one of the best in the nation by her senior year. She ended the 2014 season ranked fifth in the country in save percentage (.884) and 12th in goals against average (0.57) individually while helping SFA rank sixth in shutout percentage, seventh in save percentage and 11th in goals against average as a team.
Following her senior campaign, she was selected to the All-Southland Conference First Team and named the SLC Student-Athlete of the Year.
A two-time First Team Academic All-SLC pick over her career, Glick also garnered a spot on the 2014 Capital One Academic All-America Second Team for her outstanding efforts in the classroom.
Her successful final season at SFA helped her land a spot on a professional team in Iceland during the spring/summer of 2015. She guided her club, IA Akranes FC, to a league championship in September.
Apart from her duties for the women’s soccer team this spring, Glick will be taking classes at SFA as she works to complete her degree as a kinesiology major.
