Chris Martinez is entering his first season with the Lumberjacks. Chris is a native of Red Oak, Texas and attended Red Oak High School.

Personal: Chris is the son of Melinda and Chris Martinez Sr and is the brother to Cruz and Cortez Martinez. His mother Melinda played soccer at the University of North Texas. Chris received district MVP honors while attending Red Oak as well as setting the school record for career touchdowns and most rushing yards in a single game. During his time at SFA Chris will pursue a degree in kinesiology.
