Jacks Continue to Rise in National Rankings

SFA up a single spot in both AFCA, Stats Perform rankings
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin football is up a single spot in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) FCS Top 25 poll and Stats Perform FCS Top 25. The Lumberjacks enter Week 3 ranked No. 8 in the AFCA poll and are at No. 12 in the Stats Perform rankings. It marks the 12th-straight week that the Jacks have earned a national ranking.
Lamar is the only other Southland Conference team currently ranked in both polls. Houston Christian is receiving votes in both polls, while Nicholls is receiving votes in the AFCA rankings.
The Jacks' Saturday night matchup with Prairie View A&M is the second-straight week playing an opponent ranked or receiving votes. The Panthers are receiving votes in each poll.
