Dawson Lake came to SFA from A&M-Commerce where he served as an offensive analyst. Lake worked with the Lion quarterbacks for two years and helped develop Harlon Hill Trophy winner Luis Perez. Lake was a part of the 2017 national championship run by the Lions and proceeding the national championship season, moved to a new coaching role with assisting the receivers.
