NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The upcoming XC Cowboy Jamboree is set to take place on Saturday, September 26, at the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course. This prestigious meet will feature a lineup of top collegiate teams, including Oklahoma State, New Mexico, BYU, and Oklahoma.Â

The SFA men's team has seen outstanding achievements with Lathan Lewter and Saad Rifi Loutfi, both of whom have been recognized as Southland Conference (SLC) Runner of the Week in the early part of the season. On the women's side, Mercy Kipchumba has earned two SLC Runner of the Week honorable mentions, marking her as an athlete to watch during the event.
Spectators will have the opportunity to witness these standout athletes as they compete against formidable opponents from some of the top programs in collegiate cross country. With the participation of teams like Oklahoma State, New Mexico, and BYU, the Cowboy Jamboree is set to be a significant event in the cross country calendar.
