RECAP: Lumberjacks Finish Fourth while the Ladyjacks Finish Seventh at Cowboy Jamboree

STILLWATER, Okla.- Stephen F. Austin placed fourth in the men's 8K with 134 points and seventh in the women's 6K with 183 points. The SFA men finished ahead of No. 5 Oregon, TCU, and No. 21 Tulsa while the SFA women finished ahead of TCU, New Mexico State and Lamar.

Valentine Jemutai placed 21st in the 6K with a time of 20:50.2 and a 5:35.3 average mile. Saad Rifi Loutfi matched that placement in the men's 8K, finishing 21st in 24:24.4 with a 4:54.6 average mile. Mercy Kipchumba added a 27th-place finish in the 6K at 20:59.5, while Paul Kiprotich placed 24th in the 8K in 24:29.1.
