Lumberjacks Host Southeastern Louisiana in Midweek Series

SFA will host the top seeded SLU Lions who hold the nation’s longest win streak at 23.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin softball team will host the hottest team in softball in the Southeastern Lions who are riding a nation-leading 23 game win streak.
SERIES SCHEDULE
• This midweek series will begin with a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 14 at 6:00 and 8:30 p.m.
• The series will wrap up with a 1:00 p.m. game on Wednesday, April 15.
• All games will be streamed on ESPN+.
SCOUTING SLU
• Southeastern has been one of the top ranked mid-major programs this season and have cracked into the top 25 nationally.
• The Lions are 37-9 with an undefeated conference record at 18-0 after sweeping Lamar last weekend.
• SLU has seven batters hitting over .300 and are led by Shelby Morris with a .404 average and 63 hits.
• Cydnee Schneider leads the team with 15 doubles followed by 11 from Morris.
• Morris leads the Lions with six triples followed by five from Ka'Lyn Watson.
• Maria Detillier brings the power to the lineup with eight homeruns followed by Watson and Brillee Ford who each have five.
• Detillier leads the Lions with 42 RBIs followed by 36 from Ford.
• In the circle, the SLU pitching staff boasts the second best ERA in the nation at 1.60. All three starters have under a 1.50 ERA. Cera Blanchard leads the way with a 0.98 ERA.
• Hallie Burns leads the team with 14 wins followed by Blanchard who has 12.
• Burns leads the Lions with 75 strikeouts followed by 57 from Blanchard.

• Ellie Vance is 8th in the nation with 67 hits and is the 14th hardest batter in the nation to strikeout.
• Crimson Bryant is ranked 19th in shutouts with four. She is also 95th in the nation with 89 strikeouts.
• Amelia Hatthorn is ranked 76th nationally with a 2.39 ERA. She is also ranked 51st in strikeout-to-walk ratio at 3.47.
CONFERENCE RANKINGS
• Ellie Vance leads the conference with 67 hits and with a .444 batting average.
• Malia Jones is tied for third with eight home runs.
• Jones is sixth with 24 drawn walks and Jamie Varga is tied for seventh with 23.
• Amelia Hatthorn has the fourth best ERA in the conference at 2.39.
• Crimson Bryant has the eighth lowest opposing batting average at .243 and is second with 89 batters struck out.

• The staff for SFA boasts a second best 3.26 ERA in the conference this season, led by Amelia Hatthorn who has a 2.32 ERA.
• Crimson Bryant is the strikeout queen with 84 on the season including 14 in her Lumberjack debut after transferring from UT Tyler. Bryant leads the team with 91.0 innings pitched.
• Amelia Hatthorn leads the Jacks with 24 appearances and a 7-4 record in 66.1 innings of work.

• The Jacks have hit 24 homeruns this season.
• Malia Jones leads the team with eight.
• Ella Hill is second on the team with five, three of which she hit during the first day of the Roadrunner Classic.
• Adelyn Becerra hit two homeruns in the ETAMU series and doubled her homerun count to four.
