Four Lumberjacks Named to Southland All-Academic Team

FRISCO, Texas- The Southland Conference announced the 2026 Softball All-Academic Team and Student Athlete of the Year Thursday afternoon. Stephen F. Austin had four student-athletes recognized.
Senior Ellie Vance, senior Kylie Bishop, senior Lilly Bean, and junior Malia Jones all earned a spot on the SLC All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for the All-Academic teams, student-athletes must have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA with at least one semester completed at the nominating institution and have competed in at least 50% of the team's games.
