3/4/2026 9:53:00 PM | Baseball
ACU plates 19 unanswered runs following SFA’s 10-1 start through 4.5
The Jacks plated a pair of runs in the second, third and fourth innings and added four more in the fifth, before the Wildcats responded with consecutive 7+ run frames to grab the lead.
ACU collected five extra base hits over the fifth and sixth innings with the Wildcats, a top 25 team nationally in home runs, belting two round trippers in the sixth as part of the eight-run frame to take the lead. SFA hit two home runs on the night with both Jhett Creel and Julian Swift leaving the yard with two-run blasts.
Eight SFA arms took the hill in the loss. Seanan Farney tossed 4.0 innings facing just two over the minimum in a starting capacity.
