Jacks Look to Continue Offensive Momentum Against PVAMU

After outscoring the Huskies 20-2 last weekend, the Lumberjacks look to carry their offensive success against Panthers on Tuesday.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin softball team will travel to Prairie View for a midweek afternoon matchup.

LAST TIME OUT
• SFA swept the HCU Huskies earning their first conference sweep of the season.
• Ellie Vance led the team with an incredible .909 batting average going 10-11 from the plate with three runs, a triple and three RBIs.
• Adelyn Becerra led the team with five RBIs this weekend while Kaylee Paul led the team with five runs scored.
• All three starters for SFA recorded complete games and the pitching staff held HCU to a 0.70 ERA and a .183 batting average.
• Crimson Bryant led the way with seven strikeouts, while Amelia Hatthorn recorded a 0.00 ERA and struck out four batters while allowing just three hits in her lone start.

• The Panthers enter this midweek with a 19-13 overall record and an 11-1 conference record. PVAMU is coming off a 2-1 series win over Texas Southern last weekend.
• Mia Nunez leads the team with 43 hits closely followed by Janaiya Thomas who has 42 hits and leads the team with a .359 batting average. Thomas also leads the team with five triples and 41 RBIs.
• Aerin Talley leads the Panthers with six of the team's 12 homeruns.
• Kearstin Tinsley is a threat on the base paths with 34 stolen bases on 39 attempts.
• In the circle, PVAMU holds a team ERA of 4.73 led by Hailey Elizarraras who has a 3.65 ERA and a 4-1 record.
• Brielle Moreno leads the team with 101.2 innings pitched and 39 strikeouts.
