Softball Heads to Houston for Series Against HCU

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin softball team hits the road for a three-game series at Houston Christian.
WHERE TO TUNE IN

LAST TIME OUT
• SFA was swept by the UIW Cardinals at home last weekend.
• Kaylee Paul and Ellie Vance led the way offensively with nine hits collectively.
• Amelia Hatthorn led the pitching staff with a 1.45 ERA in two appearances last weekend. She also struck out six batters and was closely followed by Crimson Bryant who recorded five strikeouts.
SCOUTING HCU
• The Huskies enter this weekend series with a 5-24 record and are looking to rebound after a 6-2 midweek loss to Texas Southern.
• Maddy Bailey leads the team with a .313 average and is tied with Madison Dominguez for the team lead in hits (20).
• Bailey and Ella Herrewig lead the Huskies with three doubles each.
• Jade Moreno accounts for half of HCU's homeruns with three.
• Chloe Foster is the only Husky with double digit RBIs at 13.
