NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin women's tennis team cruised past Nicholls State, 5-2, in the Lumberjacks home opener of the 2026 campaign, on Friday, March 13.

The Lumberjacks pulled ahead early, capturing the doubles point, before Avery Kinsey, Antonella Taco, and Ksenia Mamontova defeated their opponents in straight sets to clinch a win for SFA. Sonja Rooth added her sixth win in her match, ending the afternoon with SFA winning five matches.
