Ellie Vance Named SLC Hitter of the Week

Vance led the team with 10 hits and recorded five RBIs
FRISCO, Texas- The Southland Conference announced the first softball hitter and pitcher of the week awards on Monday afternoon.
Ellie Vance returned for her senior season after leading the Jacks in hits. She opened her 2026 season going 10-17 from the plate, hitting .588, with a .588 slugging percentage and a .611 on-base percentage. Vance is tied for the team lead with five RBIs and leads the team with two stolen bases. In the game against St. Bonaventure, she went 3-4 with three runs, two RBIs, and a stolen base.
UP NEXT
SFA will make a quick trip over to Monroe, Louisiana for a midweek matchup on Tuesday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m. against the ULM Warhawks.
