Ladyjacks Return to the Sawmill for Matchups Against the Cardinals and the Huskies

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin women's basketball program returns home after their four-game road trip for clashes with the UIW Cardinals on Thursday night and the HCU Huskies on Saturday afternoon.
WHERE TO TUNE IN
• Both games will be broadcasted on ESPN+ and Cade Haak will be on the radio call on Q107 or in the SFA Athletics App.
LAST TIME OUT
• SFA earned their 41st victory over the SLU Lady Lions and have won 20 of the past 22 matchups.
• This was the third-largest comeback in the Bishop Era, behind a 15-point comeback ACU in 2024-25 season and a 26-point comeback against Southern Utah in 2023-24 season.
• The 59 points scored in the second half is the second most in the Bishop Era, behind a 64-point second half against TAMUSA last season.
• Harmanie Dominguez led the team with 24 points and tied her season high with five made three-pointers.
• Key Roseby tallied 13 points, seven rebounds, and tied the team lead with two assists.
• Lydia Cajuste tied her career high with 13 points and ties the most three-pointers she has made in a game with three.
• Kaylinn Kemp tacked on 12 points and recorded her eighth straight game with at least five assists.
• Cha Gardner her third double-double this season with 12 points and tied the team lead with 10 rebounds.
• Aziyah Farrier tied Gardner with ten rebounds while Myka Perry tied Roseby and Dominguez with seven rebounds. Farrier also led the team with two blocks.
SCOUTING UIW
• The Cardinals head to the Sawmill with a 6-6 overall record and a 4-1 conference record with their one loss coming to McNeese.
• Senior guard, Jorja Elliott leads the team in scoring with 124 points, followed by Raimi McCrary and Brynn Lusby with 108 each.
• McCrary, a junior forward, also leads the Cardinals in rebounds with 90, averaging 8.2 per game.
• Senior guard, Madison Cockrell leads the team in assists with 33.
• Elliott leads the Cardinals with 17 steals and eight blocks.
SCOUTING HCU
• The Huskies enter the week with a 4-8 overall record and a 2-3 conference record. HCU is looking to end their four-game skid against Lamar on Thursday night before traveling to Nacogdoches.
• Freshman guard, Kamryn McLaurin leads the team with 156 points followed by sophomore guard, Grace Booth who has 145 points.
• Booth leads the Huskies with 99 rebounds and averages 8.3 per game.
• Booth also leads the team with 29 assists followed closely by junior guard, Tove Caesar who has 28.
• McLaurin leads the team in steals with 23 followed by Booth who has 18.
• Jordan Jackson is the only one on the HCU squad that has more than four blocks this season with 10 recorded on the year.

• SFA holds a 14-1 series lead over the UIW Cardinals and are currently on a three-game win streak.
• SFA holds a 15-1 series lead over the HCU Huskies and are on a eight-game win streak.
MONEY MANIE
• After recording the second most three-pointers in a single season at SFA with 89, Harmanie Dominguez continues to be one of the most prolific shooters from beyond the arc.
• With her second three-pointer against East Texas A&M, Dominguez passed current teammate Avery Vansickle for the 10th most made three-pointers by a Ladyjack with 127. She currently has 133 and is chasing Katrina Price who has 137.
• She also drained her 300th career three-pointer against the Lady Lions last Saturday.
NATIONAL RANKINGS
• Harmanie Dominguez is 8th in the nation with 3.14 three pointers per game, she is also 17th nationally in made three-pointers with 44.
• Kaylinn Kemp is 35th nationally and 1st in the conference with 5.1 assists per game and 47th nationally with 72 assists. She is also 65th nationally with an 84.9 free throw percentage.
• Aziyah Farrier is 81st nationally and 1st in the conference with 1.43 blocks per game. She also currently leads the conference with 20 blocks this season.
