SFA Men’s Basketball to Host 2025 Summer Camps in June

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Stephen F. Austin men's basketball program is excited to announce the 2025 SFA Men's Basketball Summer Camps, scheduled for June 9–12, 2025, at William R. Johnson Coliseum. These community-focused camps invite boys entering Kindergarten through 12th grade to enjoy a skill-building, fun, and immersive Lumberjack basketball experience. Under the leadership of new head coach Matt Braeuer and his staff, campers will learn basketball fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship in the same arena where the Lumberjacks play.
Little Dribblers Camp (Entering K–3rd Grade)
Registration is now open for both camps. Space is limited, so early registration is highly encouraged to reserve a spot for your young athlete. SFA faculty and staff are eligible for a discount – please contact Duncan Bacon at Duncan.Bacon@sfasu.edu for the faculty/staff discount before registering.
Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender) in accordance with NCAA rules, ensuring an inclusive opportunity for all interested participants.
Little Dribblers Camp (Entering K–3rd Grade)
- Ages: Boys entering Kindergarten through 3rd Grade
- Dates: June 9th – 12th, 2025
- Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (half-day mornings)
- Features: Fun introduction to basketball fundamentals and team play. Campers will participate in age-appropriate drills and games, and each participant receives an official camp T-shirt.
- Ages: Boys entering 4th through 12th Grade
- Dates: June 9th – 12th, 2025
- Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (full day camp)
- Features: Lunch is provided daily on campus, and each participant receives an official camp T-shirt as part of the full-day Lumberjack camp experience.
