
Men’s Track & Field Wraps Up Clyde Hart Classic

WACO, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Men's Track and Field Team wrapped up competing in the Clyde Hart Classic in Waco this past weekend.
100-Meter Dash:
The Lumberjacks Joel Aihia was the top finisher for SFA as he took home a sixth-place finish with a 10.42 time. Nicolaus Ray finished in ninth place for SFA with a 10.64 time, while Perry Watkins rounded out the top finishers for SFA with his 10.66 time good enough for 10th place.
200-Meter Dash:
Nicolaus Ray was the top finisher for SFA with a 21.64 time and a seventh-place finish, where he was closely followed by Johnny Banks III who placed eighth for the 'Jacks with a 21.68 time. Joel Aihia finished in 10th for SFA with a 21.84 time, while Tyrel Willis closed out the competitors for SFA with a 22.58 time and a 14th place finish.
400-Meter Dash:
Mason Roseboro was the lone Lumberjacks runner and came away with a sixth place showing with a 48.20 time for the event.
800-Meter Run:
Rhyan Smith put together an impressive showing for SFA in the 800-meter as he came away with a second-place finish in the event with a 1:57.47 time.
1500-Meter Run:
Riley Elliott secured the Lumberjacks first, first-place finish of the weekend as he ran a 3:54.37 time, best among all runners in the event. Wyatt Hoover finished in fourth with a 3:58.56 time, while Pablo Lesarri ranked sixth with his 4:00.12 time. Kevin Curry IV and Bennett Meyer-Wills finished in eighth and ninth place for SFA with 4:03.06 and 4:04.58 times respectively. Andrew Mullen was the sixth top-10 finisher for SFA with his 4:05.26 time, while Blake Hyatt with a 4:06.49 time and Jackson Parrish with a 4:16.56 time finished in 13th and 16th places for SFA respectively.
110-Meter Hurdles:
Nicholas Grullon pieced together a solid second-place finish for SFA with a 14.50 time, while Ayden Colbert finished in sixth with a 15.03 time. Anthony White rounded out the competitors for SFA with his 15.55 time and a 10th place finish.
4X400 Meter Relay:
The Lumberjack Relay Team took home a third-place finish in the relay with a solid 3:14.94 time as a team.
High Jump:
Nicholas Grullon continued his strong weekend as he took home the second first-place finish for SFA this weekend with a 6-11 mark in the high jump to place first on the podium. Ayden Colbert and Anthony White both marked at 6-3.25 for the high jump to finish in a tie for fifth place for SFA.
Long Jump:
Oghenetega Orkevwie finished in seventh place for SFA as the lone Lumberjack competitor with a 21-5.5 showing.
Triple Jump:
Jarvis Anderson locked down the third first-place showing for the 'Jacks with a 51-7 mark in the triple jump to top all competitors and rank first on the podium.
Pole Vault:
Brayden Hill was the top finisher for SFA as he finished in fourth place with a 15-9 mark for the pole vault. Garrett Savage finished in sixth place with a 15-9 mark, while Cade Carter finished just behind him in seventh place with a 15-3 showing. Payton Bragg rounded out the competitors for SFA with a 14-9.25 mark, which ranked him 11th in the event.
Discus:
Samuel Pavan secured the fourth first-place ranking for SFA this weekend with his 160-1.75 mark in the discus event to lead all competitors. Sam Reihle finished in ninth for SFA with his 128-11.75 showing.
Hammer Throw:
Kason Reed took home a sixth-place finish for SFA with a 159-10 mark in the hammer throw, while James Williams finished right behind Reed in seventh place with a 158-8.75 mark.
Javelin:
Ayden Colbert ranked seventh in the event as the lone SFA competitor with a 143-10.5 mark for the event.
Shot Put:
James Williams finished as the top competitor for SFA in fourth place with a 51-10 mark, while Kason Reed finished in sixth with a 50-10.25 mark. Sam Reihle ranked ninth in the event for the Lumberjacks with a 43-1.75 mark.
