Cody Templeton Named SLC Pitcher of the Week

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Cody Templeton has won the Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week after a dominant showing against Lamar. The Junior Lefty threw a complete game shutout on Friday, allowing only five hits to the Cardinals. He struck out seven while not walking anyone. Templeton is 2-0 on the year with a 1.53 ERA and a 0.75 WHIP over 29.1 innings while striking out 26 batters. All five of those stats lead the team. He has also gone six-plus innings in all of his starts, pitching at least seven innings in three of his four starts.

The Lumberjacks return to action on Wednesday, March 12th at home against Abilene Christian. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.
