Ladyjacks Begin Three Game Homestand Against the Texas State Bobcats

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin women's basketball team gets set to return to the Sawmill to begin their three game homestand against the Texas State Bobcats on Saturday, December 6 at 8:00 p.m.
WHERE TO TUNE IN
• This game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Rob Meyers on the call.
• Cade Haak will be on the radio call live on Q107.
LAST TIME OUT
• Harmanie Dominguez led the team with 20 points, including four three-pointers and recorded her first 20-plus point game of the season.
• Myka Perry followed with 19 points, four steals and three assists.
• Cha Gardner recorded her second straight double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
• Key Roseby followed with nine rebounds.
• Kaylinn Kemp led the team with five assists and tacked on five rebounds.
• The 'Jacks recorded 34 points in the paint, 16 points off of turnovers, and 14 fast break points.
SCOUTING TEXAS STATE
• The Bobcats enter the Sawmill with a 2-5 record with wins over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Prairie View A&M.
• Sophomore guard, Saniya Burks is the only Bobcat with over 100 points. She leads the team with 140 and averages 20.0 per game. Burks is also their best three-point shooter with 20 made three-pointers, no one else on the team has more than four.
• Sophomore forward, Kyra Anderson leads the team with 53 rebounds and averaged 7.6 per game.
• KP Parr and Deja Jones have combined for 22 assists with Parr recording 12 and Jones recording 10.
• Burks leads the team with 17 swipes followed by Kaliyah Murphy who has 10.
• Anderson leads the Bobcats in blocks with eight, followed closely behind by Kyla McBride who has seven.

• This will be the 72nd meeting between these two programs.
• SFA holds a commanding 60-11 series lead and is on a four-game win streak.
• This will be the third season in a row these two teams will match up. The first in 2023 was a WNIT game that SFA hosted, then the 'Jacks went to San Marcos last season, and now the Bobcats are making their return trip to Nacogdoches.

• Sophomore forward, Cha Gardner was named Southland Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
• Gardner recorded back-to-back double-doubles for the first time in her career against Hampton and Longwood in the Puerto Rico Classico.
• Against the Pirates, she set a new career high with 17 rebounds and added 14 points, then against the Lancers, she recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds.
• Overall, Gardner averaged 12.5 points per game, 13.0 rebounds per game, and 1.5 blocks per game.
