
Ladyjacks Wrap Up Four-Game Homestand with the Wildcats and Cougars

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin women's basketball program will wrap up their four-game season opening homestand against the ACU Wildcats on Friday, November 14 at 5:30 p.m. and the Houston Cougars on Monday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
• Harmanie Dominguez led SFA in scoring with 16 points.
• Aziyah Farrier accounted for half of the Ladyjacks 10 blocks.
• Farrier tallied 10 points and 14 rebounds, claiming her double-double.
• Key Roseby collects a double-double with 13 points and 10 boards.
• 'Jacks go 6-for-7 on the free-throw line this afternoon.
• SFA held the lead since their opening 2-0 bucket two minutes into the game.
SCOUTING ACU
• The Wildcats come into the Sawmill with a 3-0 record and are coming off of two straight victories over Southland schools, a 69-56 win over UIW and a 76-58 win over UTRGV.
• ACU is projected to win the WAC this season, highlighted by the return of Payton Hull and Meredith Mayes.
• Erin Woodson, Emma Troxell, and Payton Hull each have scored 40 points or more.
• Meredith Mayes leads the team with 20 rebounds closely followed by Troxell with 17.
• Breanna Davis leads the Wildcats by dishing out 15 assists followed by Woodson who has 12.
• Woodson also leads the team with 10 swipes while Mayes leads the team with three blocks.
SCOUTING HOUSTON
• Houston will make the two and a half hour trek to WRJ with a 2-1 record and coming off a 70-56 loss to Rice Tuesday night.
• SFA is the first of two SLC schools the Cougars will play. After Monday's game, Houston will head down to Edinburg to face UTRGV on Thursday night.
• Amirah Abdur-Rahim, sister of former Kennesaw State and South Florida MBB Head Coach Amir Abdur-Rahim, leads the Cougars with 37 points followed by Kierra Merchant who has 36.
• Merchant also leads the team with 25 rebounds followed closely by TK Pitts with 23.
• Briana Peguero has dished out a team-leading nine assists followed by Kateri Poole with eight.
• Peguero also leads the Cougars with eight steals with Pitts and Poole behind her at six.
• Abdur-Rahim and Merchant lead Houston with four blocks each.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE
• After recording four doubles-doubles as a freshman, Key Roseby began the 25-26 season where she left off.
• She has recorded back-to-back double-doubles to start of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds against Nelson and 13 points and 10 rebounds against TAMU-Texarkana.
