Lumberjacks Travel to Houston for Rematch with Huskies

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks travel to Houston, Texas for a midweek rematch with the Houston Christian Huskies on Tuesday April 23rd.
The Series
SFA currently leads the all-time series history with a 22-14 record against the Huskies. The Lumberjacks are 13-5 at home and 8-8 on the road when the two teams square off. Tuesday's game will be the second time the teams have met this season. The Huskies won the first meeting by a final score of 19-9 at the Sugar Land Classic in Sugar Land, Texas.
A Look at SFA
The Lumberjacks are currently 6-34 overall and 2-19 in Western Athletic Conference (WAC) play. SFA picked up a win last week in a midweek game over the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff by a final score of 13-3. The Lumberjacks then hosted the Redhawks for a weekend home WAC three game series and dropped all three games. SFA will look to get back on track against the Huskies in the midweek rematch.
Brock Knoerr leads the Lumberjacks offense with his .313 batting average. Cole Hill continues to lead the 'Jacks offense with 47 hits, 27 runs scored, and 71 total bases.
