Lumberjacks Lose to Tritons in Third Game of The Series

After three scoreless innings for both teams, the Lumberjacks struck first on a Nolan Brown single up the middle to drive in Cole Hill. The Lumberjacks led 1-0. The Tritons responded in the bottom of the fourth with one-run of their own to tie the score at 1-1 after four complete.
UC San Diego added onto their lead scoring four-runs in the fifth, three in the seventh and 8 in the eighth. SFA was unable to push anything across after scoring in the top of the fourth inning and the Lumberjacks lost by a final score of 16-1.
Matthew Dalquist (1-0) took the win on the mound for the Tritons and Elian Balmaceda (1-1) took the loss for the Lumberjacks.
The Lumberjacks will be back in action Sunday March 3rd for the final game of the four-game series against the Tritons. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. CST.
