Lumberjacks Lose to Warhawks in Midweek Game

The Lumberjacks got the scoring started in the first inning thanks to a Tom Biggs double down the right field line bringing in Colton Griffin and Peyton Parker to score. The Lumberjacks led 2-0 after the first inning.
Jack James was able to hold ULM scoreless for the first three innings. Reid Bowyer relieved James in the top of the fourth inning and the Warhawks got on the board scoring two runs and tying the game 2-2.
ULM then scored three in the fifth, two in the sixth, and six in the seventh innings to lead 13-2. SFA wasn't able to get anything going on offense and ULM took the victory in seven innings by a final score of 13-2.
Justin Robinson (1-0) took the win on the mound for ULM and Will Larson (0-1) took the loss for SFA.
SFA returns to action this weekend as they travel to La Jolla, California for a four-game series against the University of California at San Diego Tritons on March 1st-3rd.
