Track and Field Announces 2025 Indoor Meet Schedule

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin track and field team announced today their indoor meet schedule for the 2025 season.
The Lumberjacks will start their season at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Meet hosted by the University of Houston in Houston, Texas, January 10th.
The team will then travel to Lubbock, Texas to take part in the Corky Classic hosted by Texas Tech University on January 17th-18th. The team will then travel back to Houston, Texas January 31st to February 1st for the Robert Platt Invitational.
February 7th-8th the Lumberjacks will travel to Manhattan, Kansas for the Steve Miller Invitational hosted by Kansas State. February 14th the team will make their third trip to Houston, Texas for the Howie Ryan Invitational.
The team will divide up for the last two meets of the year. One team will head to Houston, Texas for the Howie Ryan Invitational on February 14th, and the other track team athletes will head to Boston, Massachusetts, for the Valentine Invitational hosted by the University of Boston, February 14th-15th.
The Southland Conference Championship meet will be held on March 2nd-3rd in Birmingham, Alabama. The indoor season will conclude with the NCAA Championships March 14th-15th in Virginia Beach, Virginia hosted by Norfolk State University.
Head Coach Rob Hansen shared his thoughts on the indoor schedule saying, "this year's indoor schedule has a lot to offer. We have some great local flavor in our University of Houston meets as well as some great out of town trips to Boston and Kansas State. There is something for everyone with this schedule and it sets us up to be prepared to contend at the SLC Championships."
