Coach Rob Hansen commented on the women's performance saying, "Mercy and Valentine did a great job running together at the front of the race for the entire race. I was really proud of their effort and for coming out as first-team all-southland performers, especially Mercy in her first collegiate race of her career. Trude and Landry were very scrappy today and did a great job working their way up through the pack over the last 1,500 meters of the race."
The Ladyjacks will be back in action for the NCAA South Central Regional in College Station, Texas on Friday, November 15th.
