‘Jacks Fall to Roadrunners in Sunday Matinee Matchup

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The UTSA Roadrunners defeated Stephen F. Austin 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.
The Lumberjacks entered the matchup against UTSA looking to snap a five-game skid and claim their first home win of the season. Bradley Redd secured her first collegiate start in goal today as she was given the starting nod in goal today vs UTSA. In the first half, Olivia Alvarez scored for UTSA scored in the 21st minute to give them a 1-0 lead. In the second half, Jordyn Hyland scored for the Roadrunners in the 59th minute, and five minutes later, Hyland picked up an assist on a Sophie Morrin goal for UTSA. That 3-0 score would hold until the end, as the Roadrunners claimed a 3-0 win.
Overall, Bradley made 2 saves and played the entire 90 minutes against UTSA. Tiana Thompson, Lilian Adams, and Reaganne Crane all recorded shots on goal for the Lumberjacks but were unable to find the back of the net in this one.
