Ladyjacks Drop Season Opener against Tigers

BATON ROUGE, La.- The Ladyjacks traveled to Baton Rouge for a matchup with the Tigers of LSU for the official season opener. Lydia Sattler recorded a game-high four saves, which is also a career high for her as SFA fell to LSU 5-0 in the season opener.
The Tigers scored goals in the 14th, 29th, 46th, 75th and 76th minutes. The only shot recorded by the Ladyjacks came from Lily Hargrove. Koral Hughes recorded three saves in 45 minutes of play. The Ladyjacks committed fewer fouls than the Tigers (4-7).
The Ladyjacks will continue their road trip at Lousiana-Lafayette on Sunday, August 21st at 1 PM.
