
Nissi Kabongo representing SFA at the USATF Indoor National Championships

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Nissi Kabongo is representing Stephen F. Austin at the USATF Indoor National Championships on Sunday, February 27 from The Podium, a state-of-the-art facility in Spokane, Washington.
Kabongo will participate in the high jump and is the lone intercollegiate athlete competing in the event.
"Nissi is coming from a successful conference meet and she is very confident," said SFA associate head coach Hadrien Choukroun. "We will see how she responds in a very high-level field with multiple Olympians. We are taking this meet as a preparation for the NCAA Nationals in two weeks."
Currently, Kabongo is tied for ninth in the NCAA with a mark of 1.85 meters (6'0.75").
