NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Grand Canyon defeated Stephen F. Austin, 1-0 in conference play. SFA falls to 4-8-1 (3-3 WAC) while GCU improves to 5-5-2 (1-3-1 WAC).
The lone goal of the game was scored in the 11th minute by the Lopes. Reaganne Crane recorded one shot on goal for the Ladyjacks. Six other Ladyjacks recorded a shot in this game; Jayme Bailey, Lily Hargrove, Jamie Jezierski, Kamryn Jiles, Avery Brandt, and Carly Wyatt. Goalkeeper, Lydia Sattler made five saves in today's matchup.
The Ladyjacks will fly to Seattle next week as part of a two game road trip with the first stop at Seattle University on Thursday, October 13th at 9:00 p.m. central time.
