'Jacks Announce Their Schedule for the 2022-23 Season

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin men's basketball team announced their schedule for the 2022-23 season Thursday afternoon.
SFA's non-conference schedule begins at home with a 10:00 a.m. matchup with LeTourneau on November 7th, then another home game on November 10th at 6:30 p.m. against Gardner-Webb, and the final game of the three-game home stand is on November 15th at 6:30 p.m. against Alcorn State.
The Lumberjacks will travel to South Dakota State on November 19th at 6:00 p.m. The team will then head to Canada to play three games over Thanksgiving break. First matchup is with Quinnipiac on November 25th at 2:00 p.m., then against Middle Tennessee on November 26th at 4:30 p.m., and finally a matchup with UNC Greensboro on November 27th at 10:00 a.m.
SFA will be back at home on December 1st for a matchup against Northwestern State at 6:30 p.m., and then will play Paul Quinn on December 11th at 1:00 p.m.
The 'Jacks will travel to LA Tech on December 14th, and then to Furman on December 17th at 3:30 p.m. The last two games before Christmas will be at home on December 19th at 6:30 p.m. against North American, and on December 22nd at 6:30 p.m. against Jackson State.
The conference season starts on December 29th at 6:30 p.m. as Abilene Christian visits Nacogdoches. SFA will travel to University of Texas-Arlington for a New Year's Eve (December 31st) matchup with a 1:00 p.m. tip-off. New Mexico State and Grand Canyon will come to Nacogdoches on January 4th at 6:30 p.m. and 7th at 2:00 p.m. to conclude the first week of conference play.
SFA's first road trip will be a three-game swing starting at Utah Tech on January 12th at 8:00 p.m., then Southern Utah on January 14th, and ending with Sam Houston on January 19th at 6:30 p.m.
The Lumberjacks will be back at home for two games against UTRGV and Seattle University on January 25th at 6:30 p.m. and 28th at 4:30 p.m., respectively.
SFA will go on a three-game road trip starting at NMSU on February 2nd, then GCU on February 4th at 7:00 p.m. and ending with UTRGV on February 11th at 6:30 p.m. They will return home for games against Tarleton State on February 15th and UTA on February 18th at 2:00 p.m.
The 'Jacks will head to ACU on February 22nd at 7:00 p.m., then they will return home for their final two conference games against California Baptist on February 26th and SHSU on March 1st at 6:30 p.m.
The final regular season game for the Lumberjacks will be on the road at the Utah Valley on March 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
