Lumberjacks Travel to Arturo Barrios Invitational

COLLEGE STATION, Texas- The Lumberjacks will take part in the Arturo Barrios Invitational, on October 15th.
This is the biggest regular season cross country meet, in the state of Texas. It will also be a great preview of the NCAA South Central Regional.
Head Coach Robert Hansen said, "our group is fit and prepared. We're training at a high level and the group has a high expectation for themselves."
The women will be missing several key pieces this week. However, Coach Hansen still believes sophomore Hadley Watts, junior Maggie Marshall, and senior Isabel Borrego are a "formidable front-end push."
"Our men feel like they have something to prove. This is the first time this year we're racing with our full compliment of men, so we'll see what that looks like", said Coach Hansen. Junior Lewis Mills and senior Max Murphy are looking to take another big step forward in their progression, with a strong finish this weekend.
