NACOGDOCHES, Texas – This week in SFA Athletics features a busy schedule with multiple teams competing at home as they continue their fall schedules. Saturday's home football game against Lincoln (CA) also features recognition for several former Lumberjack and Ladyjack greats as part of the 2021 Hall of Fame class.

SFA Football | Pink Out Game | Home vs. Lincoln (CA)
Fresh off a 58-13 demolition of Mississippi Valley State on Saturday, the SFA Football team moves on to host first-year program Lincoln (CA) inside Homer Bryce Stadium on Saturday. Along with recognition of members of the 2021 Hall of Fame class, the game will serve as the Pink Out game for breast cancer awareness. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness, and pink wristbands will be given out as part of the partnership with the ZTA sorority.
Few connections, if any, have been as solid as that between QB Trae Self and WR Xavier Gipson, who have connected for 337 yards and three touchdowns on 19 receptions. Those marks have been good enough to place Gipson within the Top 5 nationally among FCS athletes in those categories.

SFA Soccer | Home vs. Sam Houston State - 8/24
The Lumberjack soccer program ran the gauntlet of tough non-conference foes this fall and has come out the other side battle-tested and ready for WAC play, starting this Friday against rival Sam Houston at 6 p.m. Carli Arthurs and Jayme Bailey lead the 'Jacks with two goals and four points apiece this season.

SFA Volleyball | Home vs. Prairie View A&M – 8/21 & Away @ UTRGV – 8/25
The Ladyjack volleyball team will wrap up its 2021 non-conference schedule at home on Tuesday versus Prairie View A&M at 6:30 p.m, before hitting the road to open WAC play at UTRGV on Saturday.
The Ladyjacks (8-3) swept Grambling State, Houston Baptist and ULM at the SFA tournament over the weekend, and placed Payton Cerny and Leah Powell on the All-Tournament Team alongside Ariana Pagan, who was named Tournament MVP.
