Lumberjack Soccer Grapples with C-USA Foe North Texas in Denton

The SFA soccer team fell 3-0 to the North Texas Eagles in Denton on Friday night.
Lily Hargrove and Jayme Bailey were both able to call the North Texas goalkeeper into action. Defenders Paige Kanipes and Mattie Musser, along with forward Carli Arthurs, put in the work playing the full 90.
Madeline Talbot took the loss but had another strong performance in goal for the 'Jacks. She finished with eight total saves while cutting off a few crosses as well, bumping her save total for the season to 35.
The 'Jacks return home for a battle with Prairie View A&M on Sunday, September 12th at 1:00 p.m. at SFA Soccer field.
