
Lumberjacks Deliver in Series Finale

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Just a day before the series finale, the Lumberjacks and the Cardinals split a doubleheader to put both squads in a position to at least even the SLC series. The 'Jacks (11-13, 9-7) had a different plan in mind, though, swooping today's game at Jaycees Field, 11-1 to take a 3-1 series victory. SFA has won eight of its last nine games, currently ranked 6th in the SLC standings.

- Skylar Black was monumental in today's game completing three hits for four RBI's. In the eighth, Black bombed a bases-clearing homerun in walk-off fashion to close the book on the ninth.
- SFA slammed seven home runs over the span of four games, including 13 stolen bases.
- Adrian Minjares contributed a career-high three hits and 3 RBI's in the series finale.
