Cougars Sweep Ladyjacks in Game Two

HOUSTON, Texas --
After a hard-fought matchup the second time around for the Ladyjacks, the Cougars were able to sweep SFA (25-16, 25-14, 25-14) in Game 2 of today's double header. The Ladyjacks fall to 10-4 on the season.
The Cougars managed to put together an explosive offense which featured 40 kills on a .357 hitting percentage to SFA's .113 on 27 kills. The dig comparison was 46-30 UH on the night, and 46-30 UH in the assists department.
The Ladyjacks were led in scoring by Coco Gillett and Payton Cerny with seven kills each, and Ielan Bradley with five kills. Maddy Bourque facilitated 15 total assists, in addition to Madelynn Miller with 11 digs.
SFA will be back in action on Saturday, January 30th at Tulane for another double header. The first game will be at 10:00 a.m., and game two will be at 4:00 p.m.
